The main reasons for the large gap between China's machine tool companies and foreign countries are:

First, industrial development is related to the past political environment. In the past, the degree of state support was not enough, and the idea of quick success for enterprises was serious, leading to heavy hosting and light components.

Second, there is little research investment and the foundation is weak. In some key component fields, some of our companies can only use high-precision functional components made of ordinary machine tools. Although these products can also be used on some high-end products, their accuracy and retention cannot be improved. On the issues of raw materials and the level of technology, and foreign advanced components can be used for three years does not change, the domestic components may only be used for one and a half years to be replaced, which also contributed to the low market share of domestic functional components.

Third, the key components, accessories determine the development of the host. Only the key components and accessories have been developed to a higher level, and the self-provisioning rate of key functional components has increased. Only in this way can we form a group of machine tool manufacturers that are relatively competitive internationally. We must accelerate the pace of innovation and upgrade of machine tool technology. This will also become the most important task for China's manufacturing industry.

The next few years will be the key to China's deep implementation of the industrial transformation and upgrading plan and strategic emerging industry development plan. High-end machine tool manufacturing industry will usher in an important period of development opportunities. Under the encouragement and support of national policies, machine tool companies should strengthen differentiation.
